Clara R. Wilson Succumbs At 78

ROACHDALE - Mrs. Clara Riggle Wilson, 78, of near New Maysville, died Monday in her home. A native of Waynetown in Montgomery County, Mrs. Wilson was born Dec. 18, 1885, the daughter of James and Susan Stewart Riggle. She married Clark Wilson March 9, 1907 in Greencastle. Mrs. Wilson was a member of the New Maysville Christian Church. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Lowell Russell of Coatsville, and Miss Lucille Wilson, at home; three sons, Lester, Joe and Edward Wilson, all of near Bainbridge; 14 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, one son-in-law, a sister-in-law, Mrs. Effie Riggle of Clayton, and several nieces and nephews. The body was taken to the Perkins Funeral Home in Roachdale where services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be at the New Maysville Cemetery. Rev. Ray Britton will be the minister.
